§ Mr. Ecclesasked the Minister of Agriculture whether it is the policy of his Department to encourage co-operative marketing of vegetables and in particular to assist the co-operative societies formed by the growers to obtain licences which will give them the wholesale distributive margin which they require.
§ Mr. T. WilliamsThe answer to the first part of the Question is in the affirmative. As regards the second part, the question of licences of the kind referred to is a matter of general post war policy which is under discussion with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Food.
