§ Mr. ShinwellI should like to grant a further increase in the scale of petrol allowances for private hire cars and taxi-cabs, but, as I indicated in the answer which I gave on 21st August to Questions about petrol restrictions, it has now become essential to review all our arrangements for the import of future petrol supplies. I regret that I must await completion of this review before considering whether any further increases for private hire cars and taxi-cabs can be granted.
