HC Deb 23 August 1945 vol 413 cc848-9W
Mr. McEntee

asked the Minister of Town and Country Planning if he is now in a position to give a decision in regard to the inquiry held by his inspector on 29th June last, as to objections raised by certain residents in a road in Southend-on-Sea to the use of a house in the road for the purpose of a holiday home for aged persons.

Mr. Silkin

The matter to which the Question refers is still under consideration, but I hope to be in a position to give a decision at a very early date.
