asked the Minister of Agriculture what the rates of pay will be for boys and girls working at harvesting this summer.

In the case of boys and girls working on harvesting in parties from camps organised by War Agricultural Executive Committees, the minimum rate of pay for those of 14 and under 19 years of age is 9d. per hour in all areas. Juveniles from other sources engaged in harvesting are entitled to the ordinary minimum and overtime rates of wages applicable to their area.
