HC Deb 12 April 1945 vol 409 c2008W
Miss Ward

asked the Secretary of State for India what action has been taken on the recommendations made in Lord Munster's Report on Welfare for the Troops in India.

Mr. Amery

General King, the Prime Minister's special representative for welfare matters in the India and South-East Asia Commands, is at present in this country. Consultations are proceeding with him and I hope to be in a position to make a statement on welfare for the Forces in India very shortly.
