Miss Wardasked the Secretary of State for India what action has been taken on the recommendations made in Lord Munster's Report on Welfare for the Troops in India.
§ Mr. AmeryGeneral King, the Prime Minister's special representative for welfare matters in the India and South-East Asia Commands, is at present in this country. Consultations are proceeding with him and I hope to be in a position to make a statement on welfare for the Forces in India very shortly.
