Major Lloyd GeorgeI understand that several local authorities are considering schemes for district heating in connection with their post-war reconstruction programmes. My Department will be glad to discuss such schemes with local authorities when they are ready to put forward detailed proposals. When the Committee, 1103W to which I referred on 16th May, in reply to a Question from my hon. Friend the Member for Swindon (Sir W. Wakefield), has reported, I hope to be able to arrange for technical and statistical data to be made available to authorities who are interested.
