§ Mr. Gledhillasked the Minister of Pensions why no explanatory memorandum is attached to the Personal Injuries (Civilians) Scheme (S.R. & O., No. 369, of 1944).
§ Sir W. WomersleyThe Personal Injuries (Civilians) Scheme, 1944, is a reissue of the 1941 Scheme incorporating, in the main, changes and additions which had already been announced and put into operation. In these circumstances it did not seem to me necessary to issue an explanatory memorandum which, if comprehensive, would have been very lengthy and detailed. I am, however, proposing, as was done in 1941, shortly to have available a booklet which will explain in detail the provisions of the new Scheme, and I will send my hon. Friend a copy of this as soon as it is ready.
