HC Deb 22 September 1943 vol 392 c226W
Mr. Hewlett

asked the Minister of Labour whether, when vacancies occur in the ranks of the Women's Royal Naval Service, Auxiliary Territorial Service or Women's Auxiliary Air Force, he will, despite the decision to stop recruiting for these services, give sympathetic consideration to the plea that members of the Girls Training Corps with 12 months' service should receive priority of enrolment?

Mr. E. Bevin

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply I gave yesterday to a similar Question by the hon. Member for Ilford (Mr. Hutchinson).
