§ Mr. A. Edwardsasked the Minister of Supply whether he intends requisitioning the considerable amount of timber at present used for hoardings all over the country; and what is the estimated quantity available?
§ Sir A. Duncan. While no precise estimate of total quantity can be given, a careful test examination has shown that the amount of usable timber that could be obtained by the removal of hoardings would not justify the expenditure of labour and effort involved.
