§ Sir J. GriggThe answer to the first part of the Question is "Yes, Sir." Instructions were issued for the immediate closing of all schools during the early stages of the occupation. The policy is that all schools should be re-opened as soon as possible under the advice of the Educational Adviser who has been appointed44W to the Military Government. Necessary steps are being taken to eliminate the teaching of Fascism and to ensure that undesirable teachers are removed.
