HC Deb 21 September 1943 vol 392 c43W
Mr. Lawson

asked the Minister of Labour whether he has active relationships with the International Labour Office at the present time; and what steps the Government has taken with the rest of the Allies to give effect to their international labour policy through the International Labour Office?

Mr. Tomlinson

His Majesty's Government are continuing to give the most active support to the International Labour Organisation and the Acting Director recently visited this country for the purpose of having discussions with Government, employers' and workers' representatives on the activities of the organisation. Arrangements for meetings under the auspices of the organisation are now under discussion with the chairman of the governing body.
