§ Mr. McEnteeasked the Minister of Health whether he will consider the desirability of having models made of the vari- 1069W ous types of working-class houses which it is proposed to build after the war and exhibit them to the public, as most people are unable to understand paper plans but could better appreciate the amenities of a house if shown a good scale model?
§ Mr. E. BrownI am at present awaiting the report of the sub-committee of my Central Housing Advisory Committee which is considering the design of postwar dwellings under the chairmanship of Lord Dudley. When this report has been received I will certainly consider the question of making models for public exhibition in the light of the sub-committee's advice. I agree that an exhibition of this kind, at the right time, might be of considerable value.
