HC Deb 13 October 1943 vol 392 c896W
Mr. Fraser

asked the Minister of Supply what supplies of timber His Majesty's Government have recently sought to purchase from the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; and whether we are now in receipt of supplies from that country?

Sir A. Duncan

Contracts have been made with the Soviet trade delegation for the supply of timber to this country up to the limits of shipping space available, and substantial quantities have been imported.
