§ Major Yorkasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether a decision has now been reached as to the handling of the milk produced in Nidderdale?
§ Mr. MabaneYes, Sir. My Noble Friend is satisfied that the milk produced in the Nidderdale district can be conveniently sent direct to the consuming centres without passing through a depot. He has, therefore, decided that the depot at Darley shall remain closed and that the Birstwith Depot shall also be closed as soon as the collection rounds have been rearranged.
