§ Sir A. SinclairAirmen up to and including the rank of corporal are not normally posted overseas if they have attained the age of 48 years. For officers, and for airmen of the rank of sergeant and above, the normal age limit is 50 years. These limits may be exceeded in cases of operational necessity, subject to medical fitness.
