asked the Secretary of State for War whether he will inquire into the circumstances in which ex-Captain K. Pennell, having been dismissed the Service by sentence of a field-general court-martial on 1st April, 1943, was prevented from presenting any appeal or petition but was forthwith, and in spite of protests, compulsorily enlisted as a private soldier?
