§ Mr. Noel-BakerYes, Sir. It was estimated that about 440,000 tons of seed potatoes would be required for planting in England and Wales in 1943. Up to the end of February, 338,884 tons had actually been despatched from Scotland to England by sea and by rail, and I do not anticipate any difficulty in completing the movement of the rest.
