WoodProvision to meet such requirements has already been made in connection with the volunteer car pools which are authorised under certain conditions to supply cars for use for essential purposes by Government Departments and by voluntary workers assisting884W Government Departments. Under this arrangement Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners of the National Savings Committee may authorise the use of a volunteer pool car by voluntary workers assisting the National Savings Campaign, provided that the journey is necessary and is one which cannot be undertaken by public means of transport.
