HC Deb 21 July 1943 vol 391 c904W
Sir R. Young

asked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether he is aware that a Mining Subsidence Bill had passed through all its stages in this House in June, 1939; that it was not further considered in another place, probably owing to the outbreak of war; whether he will have the matter reconsidered or remitted for attention by the authority responsible for post-war reconstruction, especially with regard to the hardships entailed on small house owners?

Mr. T. Smith

The answer to all three parts of the Question is "Yes."
