HC Deb 17 February 1943 vol 386 cc1755-6W
Mr. Ellis Smith

asked the Minister of Information whether he has now given further consideration to the ban that is placed on the publication "Russia To-day" being sent to other countries; and what action does he intend taking?

Mr. J. Dugdale

asked the Minister of Information if he will so far release the ban on the export of "Russia To-day" as to allow people in this country to send it to their relatives serving with the Middle East Forces?

Mr. Bracken

This paper is one of a number the export of which has been prohibited since 1940. The question whether this ban should be raised has been under review and I hope to be able to state the Government's decision in a few weeks' time.
