§ Mr. Oldfieldasked the Minister of Information whether he is aware that Mr. Victor Fisher, of his Department, made a speech at a meeting of Balham women Conservatives during the last week of January, 1943, which was provocative and insulting to the Indian people; and whether he will stop employees of his Department speaking, as members of his Department, at political meetings?
§ Mr. BrackenMr. Fisher is not an employee of the Ministry of Information. He is one of the innumerable speakers the Ministry of Information is asked to supply to address meetings in all parts of the country.
