Beattieasked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the unreasonable level to which the price of houses has risen, he will consider the imposition of a ceiling price based on the 1939 value of house property and take steps to prevent the owners of property from exploiting the homeless at a stage of the war when stringent controls have been imposed in other spheres to prevent inflationary tendencies?
