§ Mr. AsshetonI would refer my hon. Friend to the replies given by the late Chancellor of the Exchequer to the hon. and gallant Member for Ayr Burghs (Sir T. Moore) on 9th February last and to the hon. Member for Maldon (Mr. Driberg) on 13th April last. It would not he possible to discriminate in favour of a particular type of earnings by reference to the risk or hardship attached to the circumstances in which they are earned.
