HC Deb 05 August 1943 vol 391 c2491W
Sir W. Jenkins

asked the President of the Board of Trade what opportunity has been taken to ascertain the views of the skilled technical experts now in charge of the large State factories in Wales on the capacity of the works now in their charge for conversion to peace purposes so that some security can be given to localities where these works have been established and consideration be given where works have been closed down and a large number of the population has been transferred elsewhere?

Mr. Dalton

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply which I gave to my hon. Friend the Member for Llanelly (Mr. J. Griffiths) on Tuesday last. I am gathering information and advice on this important matter from many different quarters.
