HC Deb 14 April 1943 vol 388 c1222W
Sir P. Hannon

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether he can present an estimate of the value of the weekly supplies of rationed food to the Armed Forces of the United States of America in Great Britain; what, on the basis of present supplies is the probable consumption of the current year; and whether special consideration is being given to the needs of the United States army in respect of supplies?

Mr. Mabane

I regret that it would not be in the public interest to give my hon. Friend the estimates for which he asks in the first and second parts of the Question. The answer to the third part of the Question is, "Yes, Sir."
