HC Deb 30 September 1942 vol 383 c802W
Colonel Carver

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether he can now state the attitude of his Department towards the request of a small section of the trade concerned, that poultry should only be sold through packing stations and not by the individual owners to friends, neighbours or small shops?

Mr. Mabane

I regret that I am not in a position at present to state the-views of my Noble Friend, but the matter is under active consideration.
