§ Mr. Noel-BakerAs a result of interim recommendations made by a committee under the chairmanship of the Regional Transport Commissioner, certain improvements of railway connections to the Liverpool docks have been made and the establishment of parking places for road vehicles is under consideration. The committee did not propose that the Liverpool Overhead Railway should be closed. I understand that the Carters' and Motor-men's Union did not tender evidence to the committee.
