HC Deb 29 September 1942 vol 383 c691W
Lieut.-Colonel Heneage

asked the Secretary of State for War whether, in view of the fact that Royal Artillery units are seldom, if ever, mentioned in communiqués, and that when they are mentioned are only referred to in general, terms, and in view of the outstanding action of certain artillery units in the Middle East and elsewhere, he will arrange to have units mentioned like cavalry and infantry units, except where there is danger of information not already in their possession being made available to the enemy?

Sir J. Grigg

I am giving further consideration to this matter.
