§ Mr. HicksIn view of the size of the work and the speed with which it was required, it was considered essential to obtain tenders from firms larger than the Colwyn Bay builders. Liverpool and Wrexham firms were invited. It is regretted that sub-letting was not arranged in this case, but, as the amount of work suitable for sub-letting was small and very early completion was considered550W important, it was thought preferable not to adopt such an arrangement.
