HC Deb 10 September 1942 vol 383 c314W
Sir T. Moore

asked the Minister of Supply what progress has been made in setting up committees of management and workers in the Royal Ordnance factories so that all concerned may be kept informed of the targets in production aimed at and the reasons which at times may prevent their being attained?

Mr. Assheton

I am glad to be able to inform my hon. and gallant Friend that joint production consultative and advisory committees have been set up in 38 of the Royal Ordnance factories, and useful results are being achieved in all cases. It is expected that committees will be established at the other four factories in the near future.
