HC Deb 10 September 1942 vol 383 cc314-5W
Mr. Liddall

asked the Minister of Health whether, where a patient in the Brace-bridge Heath Mental Hospital is, at the request of his Department, transferred to another hospital away from Lincoln, and subsequently dies there, he will arrange that the cost of the transport of the body back to Lincoln be reimbursed to the relatives in all cases without any inquiries as to their means?

Miss Horsbrugh

My right hon. Friend is considering the suggestion made by my hon. Friend and will communicate with him in due course.
