§ Mr. MabaneMr. Hooper holds no appointment under the Ministry of Food and consequently is in receipt of no salary. Since the beginning of July he has been engaged, at the invitation of my Department, on an inquiry into the problems of vegetable distribution. In reply to the last part of my hon. Friend's Question, Mr. Hooper's whole business career for the last 22 years has been concerned with the problems of distribution.
