asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether we regard ourselves as actively at war with Finland, Rumania, Bulgaria and Hungary; and whether we have recently undertaken any aggressive action against any of them?

Mr. Eden

As regards the first part of the Question, war was declared by His Majesty's Government upon Finland, Hungary and Rumania on December 7th, 1941, and the Bulgarian Government declared war on His Majesty's Government on December 13th, 1941. As regards the second part of the Question, it would not be to the public advantage to make any statement on this subject at the present time.
