HC Deb 08 September 1942 vol 383 c70W
Mr. Thorne

asked the Home Secretary whether he can give any information in connection with the charge made against James Turner, farm bailiff, of Lingfield, who was charged at Oxted, Surrey, on 24th August, with the unlawful possession of Army stores; whether he will give details of the stores; and what action was taken in the matter?

Mr. Peake

I understand that this man has appealed to Quarter Sessions against his conviction. It would not be proper for me to comment on a case which is still pending before the courts.
