HC Deb 22 October 1942 vol 383 c2150W
Mr. Summers

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the fact that he, has undertaken to pay the cost of re-erection of machinery in the premises from which it was removed when requisitioning took place in cases where this machinery has been stored, he will, in addition, pay the cost of the re-erection of such machinery elsewhere in cases where this is done at the request of a Government Department?

Sir K. Wood

I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer I gave on 9th June to the hon. Member for the Pudsey and Otley Division (Sir G. Gibson), of which I am sending him a copy.
