HendersonThe operational research groups in the Middle East are concerned with the investigation of battle problems and do not include representatives of manufactures of tanks; but the staff of the Commander of the United States Middle East Forces, which includes technical officers of the United States Ordnance with expert knowledge of American tanks, works in the closest cooperation with our tank experts in the Middle East and has direct access to armoured formations and maintenance and workshop units.
