asked the Minister of Health the incidence in Great Britain during the past five years of diphtheria, cerebrospinal fever, syphilis, measles, pneumonia and whooping-cough respectively?

The incidence during the past five years of the diseases mentioned, excepting syphilis, which is not a notifiable disease, is shown in the appended statement of the numbers of cases notified. Only certain forms of pneumonia are notifiable, and compulsory
