HC Deb 15 October 1942 vol 383 c1787W
Sir E. Graham-Little

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether the Food Rationing (Special Diets) Advisory Committee of the Medical Research Council now replaces the scienttific advisers who had been before February, 1942, responsible for the constitution of bread supplied under the control of the Ministry; what is the personnel of this committees, and at what date it became responsible for the composition of bread supplied to the public under ministerial control?

Mr. Mabane

The Advisory Committee to which my hon. Friend refers is concerned, as its name indicates, with foods which are rationed. It has not, therefore, considered bread. The remainder of the Question does not arise.
