The figures of persons injured (disabled for more than three days) by accidents at mines under the Coal Mines Act in the South Wales and Monmouth coalfields during the year 1938 are as follow:

asked the Minister of Fuel and Power the figure for the output per manshift worked at the coal face for each of the eight weeks of the output bonus periods, with similar figures for the corresponding weeks of 1941?

Figures on a weekly basis are not available for 1941. In the first two output bonus periods, the average output per man-shift worked at the coal face was 2.88 and 2.92 tons, respectively; in the corresponding periods of last year, it was 2.98 tons and 2.99 tons.
