§ Mr. ButlerIn the area of the local education authority for Gloucestershire the proportion of secondary school pupils having dinner at school in October was 57.2 per cent., these facilities being available for every secondary school pupil desiring to take advantage of them. The proportion of elementary school children taking dinner at school, which was 8.8 per cent. in May last, is now believed to be approximately 12 per cent. and is expected to increase rapidly to about 28 per cent. under proposals well in hand.
