§ Sir L. Lyleasked the Secretary of State for War what arrangements have been made up to date to co-ordinate the plans for entertaining American and British troops stationed in this country; and whether every facility has been placed at the disposal of the visiting American troops in this respect?
§ Sir J. GriggArrangements were made some months ago with the headquarters of the American forces whereby British Army welfare officers place at the disposal of the American troops their local knowledge of the recreation and entertainment available in these areas. In addition the E.N.S.A. entertainment service is available to meet the requirements of the American troops. The American forces have been good enough to give British troops the benefit of American entertainments and these have been much appreciated. The co-ordination of arrangements for hospitality to American troops is the responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Minister of Information.
