HC Deb 26 March 1942 vol 378 c2185W
Mr. E. Walkden

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether there has been any hitch in the delivery of Red Cross parcels to Stalag XXI D, Posen, or reports as to no food parcels having arrived and no extra food provided during February; and what action has been taken to augment the food supplies at this camp during the cold weather?

Mr. Sandys

Food parcels are sent regularly from Geneva to this camp, but for the reasons explained by my right hon. and gallant Friend on 17th February there was a temporary reduction in the number despatched about the end of last year. The position generally has now improved and I hope that this camp should by now be receiving regular and sufficient supplies of food.
