HC Deb 25 March 1942 vol 378 cc2006-7W
Mr. Batey

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food the amount of fish landed in the North of England during the last six months and its distribution, seeing that householders are unable to get any?

Major Lloyd George

It is not in the national interests to disclose in war-time the quantities of food arriving in this country but fish landings during the past winter months have been exceptionally small owing to unusually bad weather conditions.
