HC Deb 25 March 1942 vol 378 c2007W
Sir H. Williams

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food to what extent the total supplies of feeding-stuffs for cattle, pigs and poultry, will be diminished as a result of the decision to introduce the national wholemeal loaf for home consumption?

Major Lloyd George

It is not in the national interest that details of the supplies of feeding stuffs should be disclosed. I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply I gave to his Question on 18th March that the supplies of feeding stuffs available will be sufficient to maintain, until the end of August, the scale of rations allowed to livestock.
