HC Deb 19 March 1942 vol 378 cc1677-8W
Dr. Morgan

asked the Prime Minister whether he is aware of the non-informative attitude adopted by many Government Departments in their answers to Parliamentary Questions; and whether he will take steps to draw the attention of Departments to the dangers of their present outlook by side-tracking parliamentary desire for accurate information?

Mr. Attlee

No, Sir. I do not accept the statement in the first part of my hon. Friend's Question.

Mr. Glenvil Hall

asked the Prime Minister whether he will name the Minister to whom Questions relating to radio communication between the Armed Forces in the field should be addressed?

Mr. Attlee

Questions on this subject which necessarily affect the three Services should be addressed to the Prime Minister.
