HC Deb 18 March 1942 vol 378 cc1518-9W
Major Kimball

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that considerable doubt exists as to the adequacy of the establishment strength of the units of the Royal Air Force Regiment now taking over aerodrome defences; and will he review these establishments before the Army personnel are withdrawn?

Mr. Sandys

No, Sir. The defence requirements of all aerodromes throughout the country have only very recently been reviewed by the War Office and the Air Ministry, and it was on the basis of this review that the establishment strength of the units of the Royal Air Force Regiment were settled.
