§ Mr. Grovesasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether he is aware that it is proposed to convert the market hall at Rhyl, at an estimated cost of £30,000, for a British Restaurant; that the local café and restaurant proprietors are willing, anxious and capable of accommodating 60,000 to 70,000 people; and, as this area is not an industrial one, will he consider consultation with the local representatives in order that existing facilities may be utilised?

A protest has been received by the Ministry from an association of local traders and inquiry is being made into the matter.
