Major Lloyd GeorgeMy Department is concerned only with offences under the Defence Regulations and not with stealing or receiving stolen goods. Three prosecutions have been instituted up to 31st January, 1942, by my Department which have led to sentences of imprisonment in excess of six months. I have no reason to think that any of the persons concerned were foreigners, but I will inquire and inform my hon. Friend in due course.
