asked the Secretary of State for Wax whether the furniture and effects of those people who are dispossessed by the establishment of battle areas will be carted back to their homes without charge when their houses are restored to them?

Expenses reasonably incurred in moving furniture and effects back to these homes, when they are relinquished by the Army, will be repaid under the Compensation (Defence) Act, 1939.
