HC Deb 29 July 1942 vol 382 cc521-2W
Dr. Little

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether, as the fowl industry is most important to the country and the nutritive value of eggs makes for the health and stamina of the people, he will apportion at least 25 per cent. of the cereals at present assigned to the brewers to those engaged in raising fowls and producing eggs?

Mr. Mabane

No, Sir. My Noble Friend considers that the present restrictions on the output of beer are sufficient in existing circumstances.
